OOTD| Little Black Dress

Dress: George@Asda
Neckace: lovethyaccessories
Shoes: Poste Mistress@Office
You really can't go wrong with an LBD can you? Especially one that has a fun flirty peplum trim. This would have been my outfit for Wednesday's Company Style Blogger Awards, but after umming and ahhhing for the best part of the day, I decided against it because I just wasn't sure what the weather was going to do and I'm no longer a believer of suffering in the name of fashion. Damn you weather! To add insult to injury, once I'd embarked on my journey to the east end of London, the sun decided it wanted to stay put and I ended up hot and bothered in my alternative attire!
The Company Style Blogger Awards was an experience to say the least. I'm still undecided about whether or not I'll blog about it but what I will say is that I met a handful of lovely bloggers who I had a great time mingling with and I also witnessed first hand the not so pretty side of the blogging community.
Onto the dress- probably my best budget buy this year. I can't remember how much I paid for it, although I definitely remember it being under a fiver in the George at Asda sale. It's such a gorgeous dress that looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. I remember thinking it would be a great piece to add to my work wardrobe and I'm sure I'll get a lot of wear out of it. I can't wait to actually wear it out of the house next time. Lol!

Events| Bloggers Love Top Ten Brands to Watch 2014

Embargo 59 on the trendy Kings Road was the place to be last Wednesday! Even the heavy rain couldn't stop us bloggers from getting our gladrags on and trekking to the posh South West London district to celebrate Bloggers Love's first anniversary and to view the top 10 brands to watch in 2014.

With the drinks flowing and the music pumping, we were able to view some amazing pieces from up and coming brands and get a taste of the fashion show to come.

The fashion show did not disappoint at all! Strutting their stuff to a mix of RnB classics, the models showed off the best pieces from each collection.

This tropical print bomber most definitely caught my eye. Imagine styling it up with black skinnies, a black cami, killer heels, oozings of chunky gold jewellery and red lipstick - perfect outfit for a night out. I drool!

It was another great night thanks to Bloggers Love! I had a fabulous time mingling with other bloggers especially the gorgeous Jade-Jenna, who has actually become a bosom blogging buddy of mine, and the equally gorgeous Nadine.

OOTD| Once upon a time there was sun

Playsuit: Asos
Jellies: Primark
Jewellery:  Vintage gold

This OOTD is a throwback to two weeks ago when we had that mini heatwave. It actually seems like a lifetime ago now! The confusing weather we're experiencing at the moment is reaping havoc on my wardrobe. One minute it's chucking it down with rain and the next it's warm and muggy; trying to be dressed accordingly is proving annoyingly difficult.
I adore this ASOS playsuit! The long sleeves,  low scooped back and exposed zip detail (which I unfortunately didn't capture) makes this the perfect summer evening getup. A pair of heeled sandals would dress this look up further, but I chose to wear my trusty jellies whilst doing one of my favourite things; sitting in a beer garden, drinking bottles of Kopparberg. Ahhh twas a good night! Lol.
Khaki used to be my go-to colour when I was at uni. I remember having a number of khaki coloured coats, khaki over the knee boots and literally khaki everything! This is probably the only thing I own in that colour now, although looking at how the colour compliments my skintone and gold accessories, makes me want to get a few more khaki coloured goodies.
So the weather is doing it's usual madness at the moment, so I might just hibernate indoors all day.
Hope you have a lovely weekend peeps!

xXx

Shopping| Mini Primark Haul

I had high hopes for the Primark in Westfield Stratford City when I ventured into East London last Saturday, but instead I was completely overwhelmed by a) the amount of people that were there and b) the size of the damn place! It was way too big and way too crowded for my liking. It stressed me out and I left empty handed. However, I wandered into my local Primark in Kent yesterday and lo and behold, I left with a bagful of goodies. It goes to show that bigger doesn't always mean better (sometimes!)
Since I'm still trying to lose a few kilos, I stayed away from the clothing section - despite being tempted by a few summer dresses - and got stuck in with the shoes and bags.

£16

Of course I needed another pair of black sandals! From the gold buckle detail, to the chunky heel; these sandals are so me it's unbelievable. They go with absolutely everything I own and are uber comfortable, how could anyone say no? Lol.

£6

Bumbags aka pouches are back! As a 90s child, I had a colourful collection and boy oh boy am I happy they're making a comeback. I'm not sure how I'm going to inject this into my wardrobe yet but I'm thinking a plain midi dress and trainers would be the perfect pairing.

£6

This bag has become somewhat famous within blogoshere as it's able to fit most DSLR cameras. I've been on the hunt for a stylish camera bag so I immediately knew this would be it.  Luckily I managed to nab the last one in my branch. It fits my canon 1100D perfectly.

£6
I simply loved this bag when I spotted it and it's surprisingly very spacious. I love the two compartments and rocked it last night at the Bloggers Love event, putting my purse, keys, note book and pen in one section and my make-up and brushes in the other. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

£6

Ok, So I've got the black mock suede with the patent back version of these heels, the black and red patent version, the white with the geometric pattern and now these ones! I couldn't help myself! In my defence, they were the only ones there, they happened to be my size and on sale. It would've been silly to leave them behind right? Lol!
I do think these are the type of sandals to have in different colours because they are so effortlessly chic and can be worn to dress up everything, so technically they're a good investment buy!

Have you been to Primark lately? What did you buy?

Review| Mr Nutcase Personalised phone case

Personalised Phone Case from Mr Nutcase* retails at £14.95
I'm that really annoying person who is constantly on their phone. If I'm not checking my emails, I'm eyeing up instagram or twittering away on twitter. In all honesty, I'm pretty obsessed! Even more so now it looks all pretty and fancy thanks to my custom iphone case from Mr Nutcase.
Mr Nutcase is on online company that specialises in customised phone and tablet cases for most devices. They have a wide range of designs you can choose from or you can create your own design using your own pictures.
When it came to picking out the of type of case I wanted for my iPhone 5, the options were endless. I settled for one of the many collage designs because I wanted a case with pictures of me and my kiddies.
The two collage design was perfect for the pictures I wanted to use. I chose a smiling image of Naila for the top half and one of my favourite pictures of me and Nathaniel for the bottom half.
I was worried that the case would have grainy images and be quite blurry, however I was pleasantly surprised to find that the images on the case were clear and faultless, complimenting the plastic case perfectly. The case has clear sides which I love, as it sits seamlessly on my phone and looks as if it's actually part of my phone instead of a case. Although the case is plastic, It's still quite strong and sturdy which hopefully means it won't be damaged easily by my 5-year-old, who is marvelled by the fact that his face is on my phone and touches it constantly to my annoyance.
I'm absolutely besotted with my case and think customised cases are a perfect and unique gift to give to your loved ones. I'm considering getting one for my other half this Father's Day.
For a cheeky 10% off a customised case use the discount code "Thanku10" at checkout!
*I was sent this product for review, however, all opinions are my own.
