OOTD| Happy

About a year ago, I described my ultimate-everyday-casual dress to a colleague. I specifically stated that it would be a denim midi pinafore dress with buttons down the front. This was uttered before the 70s thing was a trend and I had accepted that in order to make this dress a reality, I'd probably have to make it myself. Luckily the fashion gods heard my cry and I was able to snap up the dress of my dreams from Topshop.
Topshop was my fashion Mecca back in the day. I would get everything there. Work wear, casual wear, clubbing wear, you name it, I was a walking talking Topshop poster. Now I rarely go in there in the fear of owning the same item of clothing as my students!
I'm actually looking forward to wearing this dress in the colder months (although it's pretty cold now to be honest) with a breton striped polo neck, thick tights, ankle boots, my trusted H&M biker jacket and a chunky red scarf. I've got it all figured out in my head, including my hairstyle lol! This is how my mind works when it comes to clothes I'm afraid!
So the summer holidays are in full swing and this teacher right here intends to make the most of it! From days out with the kiddies, to drinks with the girlies, I'm adamant that this summer holiday will not be wasted. Watch this space!
Dress: Topshop | Sliders: H&M
